When investigating whether a new cryptocurrency is a scam or not, we need to look at a few different factors. But even when all these factors check out as valid, we always need to be cautious about what we invest our money into. The same goes for when a project doesn’t pass a certain factor. It doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a scam.
Today we will be analyzing the Hedera Hashgraph project, in order to reach a conclusion on whether it is a scam or not.

The HBAR Team
The first thing that pops up to us is the size of this team, and this is only the Leadership team. We couldn't find the total number of employees of the company but we can assume it's big, judging by the size of the leadership only.
This team is filled with super-competent people, the CEO's experience speaks for itself " the senior executive for product security at a $1.7B revenue organization, Program Manager for a very-large scale software program for the Missile Defense Agency, the Course Director for Cybersecurity at the US Air Force Academy, and research scientist in Machine Learning at Wright Laboratory" . Serious people are working on this project.
There's a entire paper on HBAR token tokemonics where they very thoroughly explain how to token is going to function, including its allocation.
HBAR will function as the network fuel, and will ensure its security. The HBAR token will move through the network ensuring the security with a coin-weighted, proof-of-stake consensus mechanism. It will also be used to reward node operators to provide their computer power to the network.
The above image shows the HBAR projected token allocation, including the tokens that have yet been released.
Here's the schedule for the token release:
This schedule will try to prevent the dilution of the token price, with a progressive 6 year release plan.
Looking at their website we find partnerships with incredibly big companies. Google for example has announced they'll be working with Hedera Hasgraph Network and will also be a member of the Hedera Governing Council.
Jerry Cuome, the Vice-President of the IBM's blockchain technologies, has said: "We believe Hedera could help provide an interesting way to enhance and simplify the deployment of Hyperledger Fabric in the enterprise, making it easier for groups to build and grow their networks." IBM is also a member of the Governing Counsil.
There are very big names in the game. Hedera Hasgraph is not messing around when it comes to partnerships.
Is HBAR a Scam?
HBAR is not a scam. Nothing about this project is a joke. Super competent team, Partnerships with company leaders of the world. An amazing well thought, token economy. I strongly believe the Hedera Hashgraph has the potential to be a top 10 coin in a matter of years. The companies are already invested in, and the network hasn't even launched yet. There is definitely a need and a use-case for this technology and Hedera is going all in.
